How did the idea for Coze Bodrum first come about?

Coze was actually more of a lifestyle than a business idea. We wanted to create a place where the sea, good food, friendly people, and a simple aesthetic came together. We set out with the dream of sharing the atmosphere where we feel at home with our guests.

What does the motto “Family & Friends” truly mean to you?

For us, this motto is not just a slogan. We want everyone who comes to Coze to feel more like a host than a guest. We strive to create an environment where people make new friends, spend quality time with their loved ones, and take beautiful memories with them when they leave.

What is the strongest detail that sets you apart from so many beach & restaurants in Bodrum?

What makes us different is not so much ostentation, but the feeling we evoke. At Coze, every detail is designed to create a natural and intimate experience. People come here not just to spend a day, but to feel good.

The aesthetic language of the place is very calm and sophisticated. What was your inspiration in creating this atmosphere?

Our greatest inspiration came from the long summer days spent by the sea. We tried to bring that feeling to the venue – unhurried, conversations lengthy, music in the background, and everyone feeling comfortable.

How do you think Bodrum's beach culture has changed in recent years?

In recent years, we see it evolving towards a faster and more glamorous direction. However, at the same time, people are now looking for calmer, higher-quality, and more characterful experiences. We are trying to maintain exactly that balance.

Do you see a difference in expectations between local and international guests?

Of course, there are some minor differences, but essentially everyone is looking for the same thing: good service, quality food, good music, and an environment where they can feel comfortable. Sincerity and care are common expectations for everyone.

Is it more difficult to preserve the old spirit of Bodrum or to adapt to the new generation's understanding of luxury?

Actually, balancing the two is the most difficult part. While preserving the warmth and simplicity of old Bodrum, we also try to offer the quality standards that today's guests expect. Coze's identity is partly built on this balance.

What do you think truly makes a good beach club unforgettable?

How people feel after they leave. Music, food, or the view are very important, but the most memorable detail is the feeling the guest takes with them at the end of the day. If they want to come back, you've done something right.

Which dish on the menu best reflects your character?

Our simple yet meticulously prepared seafood dishes best represent us. The unpretentious, high-quality ingredients prepared by our Kitchen Coordinator, Oğuz Kara, reflect Coze's culinary philosophy.

How are the music choices and ambiance shaped at Coze?

We tailor the music to the rhythm of the day. In the mornings, we prefer calmer and softer tones, and towards sunset, we choose options that increase in energy but don't overpower conversation. Our aim is for the music to be a natural part of the atmosphere, not the star of the show.
