For us, being “timeless” means maintaining one’s own character rather than chasing trends. What makes a piece timeless is its ability to adapt to different styles over the years and become an integral part of the wearer's own look. That is precisely our goal at Lucea: to create pieces where style endures even as fashion trends come and go.

When creating your collections, do you start with the jewelry itself or with the style of the woman who will wear it?

The two actually complement each other. When we begin with the design of the piece, we also consider the style of the woman who will wear it and how she might make that piece uniquely her own.

How do simplicity and striking appeal coexist within your brand’s aesthetic?

To us, simplicity is the most powerful form of good design. We combine timeless, refined lines with bold, distinctive details. Lucea’s striking quality stems precisely from this balance.

You describe jewelry not merely as an accessory, but as a touch that complements a person's style. In your view, how can the right piece of jewelry transform a person's look—or even their bearing?

I believe the best thing about the right piece of jewelry is that it empowers your presence without changing who you are. Sometimes, a single piece can elevate even a very simple look to a whole new level. At Lucea, we prioritize jewelry that highlights the wearer's style and energy rather than overshadowing them.

The organic and sculptural forms in Lucea’s pieces really stand out. What inspires you most when it comes to your choices of form and material?

We are most inspired by how a familiar form can take on a completely new character with just a subtle touch. Fluid lines, unexpected curves, and sculptural volumes are integral to Lucea’s design language. When it comes to materials, we gravitate toward choices that best reflect these forms—materials whose quality is palpable the moment you touch or wear them.

In your view, what is the difference between a piece of jewelry looking beautiful in a photograph and being cherished and worn for years in real life?

For me, the true value lies not in how a piece looks in a photo, but in the fact that it is still loved and worn years later. I love seeing a piece blend into a person’s style over time—or even become synonymous with it. When reviewing designs at Lucea, I always ask myself, "Would I still want to wear this a few years from now?"

Trends in the jewelry world change rapidly today. How does Lucea Jewelry strike a balance between the contemporary and the timeless?

We keep up with trends, but we don’t let them dictate our designs. We filter the contemporary through Lucea’s own aesthetic lens, transforming it into something timeless. To us, a great design should capture the spirit of the present while remaining relevant for years to come.

We see the city, the woman, and everyday life intertwined in your brand’s visual world. What is a typical day like for the Lucea woman? How do you envision her?

We imagine the Lucea woman as someone who creates her own rhythm amidst the city's fast pace. Her style stays with her from her morning coffee through the daily hustle and bustle to evening gatherings; Lucea naturally accompanies her at every moment of the day.

Do you hope that the first piece a customer buys from Lucea will eventually evolve into a personal memory or a signature style element for them? How does the brand view the relationship between jewelry and memories?

We certainly do. In fact, I believe that is the most beautiful aspect of jewelry; ...evolving over time from a mere accessory into something that is truly yours. It is very special to us when a Lucea piece evokes a memory—even years later—or instills the feeling that "this is truly *my* piece."

How do you envision Lucea Jewelry evolving in the future—not just as a jewelry brand, but as a world of lifestyle and style?

We do not view Lucea as a brand defined solely by jewelry. Our dream is for it to evolve into a world with its own aesthetic language and way of life. We are excited by the prospect of encountering Lucea in a physical space, an object, or an entirely different design realm in the future. Yet, wherever it appears, we want to create an identity that makes you say, "That’s Lucea," the moment you see it.
