Istanbul is one of the rare cities where life goes on 24/7. We live in this city, but how many of us take advantage of this feature?
Maybe you're scrolling through your phone screen on a Friday night, feeling bored. It's evening, you've shaken off the day's fatigue. You're thinking, "Should I go out tonight?" when our article pops up and takes away all your doubts. We've prepared a Friday night itinerary on the European side of Istanbul that will leave you with no questions.
If you're a pop-house music fan, this is for you!
If you want to enjoy the Bosphorus view and have fun, your first stop should be Kiff Bebek. It's a place that draws you in with its cocktails and ambiance, and welcomes you with warmth. The music is great. The people are friendly, and their only concerns are a little music, a little dancing, and a little conversation.
And of course, you can't skip Tus Teşvikiye.
A small, intimate place. Their sorrel cocktails are legendary. The music is great, and it's full of people having fun. It has an atmosphere that boosts your energy. It's a very pleasant place, both in terms of its interior design and its staff.
If you're a bar person and looking for a more chill Friday, this is the place for you!!
The bars in Teşvikiye are our favorites.
You can grab a beer in front of Grotesk and have a great conversation. If you're looking for a bar where you can feel the music even more, Kozmonot fulfills that need. It's a place with enjoyable music and a feel-good atmosphere. A place where you can be yourself, far from unnecessary pretentiousness. You can grab a bottle of wine, light a cigarette, and romanticize your day, or you can order a beer and let yourself be carried away by the music.
When it comes to nightlife, Taksim is a must, of course!
You can grab a beer from the liquor store, sit on the Cihangir stairs, and meet different but equally similar people. Remember, everyone's only goal is to have some fun, to socialize a little.
Pendor, which we've been enjoying going to lately, is our go-to spot after Noh Radio. You grab a beer and dance to the music inside. Then you let yourself go with the rhythm and feel like the main character under the red spotlights.
